16yo dughter nudes pictures - 2007/08/12 06:41 Hello, i'm a 36yo divorced women and last week i found some pictures of my 16yo daughter nude and half nude on our computer, I confronted her and she admited to have posted her pics on differents site. And I feel partialy guilty about that because I have posted some myself and she knows it, her pictures are realy explicit, what should i do?
Anyone as ever had the same problem?

Re:16yo dughter nudes pictures - 2007/08/12 16:27 It can definitely be hard to reprimand your teen daughter about an issue which she knows you yourself have engaged in. But of course you can always stress on the fact that she is underaged, and as a divorced adult woman you can make decisions regarding an issue like that for yourself. She on the other hand is not allowed to be showing behavior of that kind. There is a big difference between an adult and a teenager/minor and this is a good point to stress on as you talk to your teen. Of course her explicit pictures will have to go in the trash bin and you will tell her that that is exactly where they’ll stay. Forbidding her from taking and posting such pictures is another must that you will have to clearly state to her. Don’t let her use the “but if you can do it why can’t I?” excuse on you. Not for a moment. If she does use it, retaliate with the adult vs. minor point. You must still remain in control despite how the situation may appear. Stand your ground… and after make sure that she is not aware of your private files and what they may contain.

Re:16yo dughter nudes pictures - 2008/02/14 08:45 be the best example you can be for her. you really can't change the fact that it has happened. make her realize the consequence of her actions. be the most responsible mom for her. i know it isn't easy to raise her alone. but you really have to and there's no other choice. Because they deserve to get a bright future.
