My daughter struggled with an eating disorder herself, and when I caught sight of some of these “Pro-anorexic” websites in the past I was disgusted. There aren’t as much of them now but I tried to keep myself “in the know” while my daughter was still being treated for her disorder and “Metabolift” was definitely a household name of diet drug among these pro-ana teens. Many troubled teenagers with anorexia seemed to swear by it. It angers me inside to think that instead of trading tips on healing that these teenagers are just sharing ways to keep the negativity alive! Its horrible. It’s a good thing that many of these types of websites are now being blocked.
