Career dilemma - 2006/09/01 00:12
My teenager has always enjoyed painting as a hobby ever since she was a little girl. Now that she’s approaching her senior year in high school, she’s been talking a lot about different art schools. I can see that she has passion for painting but I was hoping that she would take a degree that could offer more stability. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against the arts but I’ve seen the kind of difficulties that these types of professions may have. I just don’t want my daughter to have to worry about making sure she can meet her monthly bills once she’s graduated and a practicing artist.
