The actions you have chosen to make regarding your son and your ex are good choices for the best. You may feel apprehensive about your decisions but you should rest assure that these decisions will result in the best for your son. Don’t feel horrible for one second. It’s great that you know your right as a parent, you shouldn’t be used. And through your actions your son will learn the responsibility that he needs to survive in reality. The counseling that both your son and you as a parent are going through will guide you through further hurdles. You’re on the right track! Give yourself a pat on the back!
